Automated Home Finder Search

Automated Home Finder Search
There are many websites with good Northern IL MLS searches. But to be up-to-date on the market and not miss out on any listing, a buyer should fill out a Home Finder Search Form.

Although it's better today than in the past, there are still some brokerages that have opted out of sharing their listings on IDX website searches (what website MLS searches are actually called). So any website offering an MLS search is only providing the feed of those brokers that have opted in to share their listings.

Again, most brokers do share their listings, after all, it's a form of advertising for their sellers. Many brokerages don't utilize print advertising anymore because it simply doesn't work and isn't worth the large expense. So they want to use the Internet to market listings since most buyers start their home search via their computer.

But what if your dream home is held by a broker that doesn't want to share? Unless you sign up for a Home Finder Search, you could miss that property. The Home Finder Search sends listings to your e-mail directly from the MLS and it is done automatically.

You can search for properties in all of Northern IL such as Orland Park homes, for example. The automated home search will send you listings of the type of property you want in the area(s) you desire and in your price range. You can select specific amenities that you need.

Don't miss out on what might be the perfect property! Fill out the Home Finder Search Form today.

New Custom IDX Search for the Chicagoland Area and Suburbs

There's a new IDX search in town. You can search active MLS listings by clicking on the link in this sentence or the picture to the right. You will be able to view as many photos as listing agents put in and get details such as address, price, room sizes and more. If the listing agent offers a virtual tour you'll get a link to it.

The original search on www.cook-county-real-estate.net was what is called a VOW. That search required a prospect to register before ever seeing any listings. The new IDX search allows a searcher to see how many listings are available and photos and snippets of info before having to register.

Registration only requires a name and working e-mail address. Your information is kept private so you don't have to worry about having your information sold to or shared with anyone else. You can save searches, map them and get driving directions. Happy searching!

Full, Active MLS Search for Northern IL

Buyers want to search the Chicago area MLS. You can do that by clicking the red link. This MLS search is different than most you'll find on Chicago and Northern IL real estate websites.

Some like to search by clicking boxes for different areas and some like to search by map. The link above will give you the option to search either way.

You can get a list of all properties in your area and price range and will be able to view a photo and description of each one. If you want to see more then you need to register.

Registration is simple and all that is required is your name and e-mail address. You can even save searches.

If you're seriously searching for a home this is the best tool you can use with the exception of the Automated Home Finder Search. Using this requires one form to be filled out and you don't have to do anything else, just open your e-mail to see any and all new listings as they hit the market.

Playing around with the MLS search is fun and buyers always think they're missing something if they don't make their own searches. But if you're really serious and don't have time to search every single day then you need to be set up with the automated search.
